Ten years ago, sustainable development was not known at all in Egyptian society. After the announcement of the UN SDGs in 2016, Egypt has signed the Paris Agreement and developed its own 2030 sustainable vision for Egypt. Today, sustainable development is a relevant topic but it is still far away from being applied in all walks of life. In this context, we are grateful to have Heliopolis University as an institution that aims to make the concept of sustainable development becomes a reality.
