Transferred Students
Transfer students must obtain a notarized transcript from the Ministry of Higher Education, including a course description, a copy of the certificate, and a copy of the birth certificate.
Requirements for admitting transfer students in all faculties:
- The cumulative GPA for one semester (CGPA) must not be less than 2.
After being accepted, the student must submit a withdrawal letter with the following official documents:
- An original Certificate.
- Original Birth Certificate.
- Certificate of Good Conduct.
Requirements and approvals:
- Original Birth Certificate.
- A copy of the national ID card (for Egyptian students only)
- 6 personal photos.
- Form 2 Soldier ( Egyptian males only)
- Copy of passport ( non-Egyptian students only)
- Medical certificate and AIDS test results (for non-Egyptians only)
Required documents according to each educational certificate
High School
- Original Egyptian high school diploma or statement of grades from the General Administration of Examinations.
American Diploma
- Original school grades statement (GPA) certified by the school, the Certification Authority and the Egyptian General Administration of Examinations (inside Egypt) or certified by the school, the educational zone and the Egyptian embassy (outside Egypt).
- Original certified sat certificate from AMIDEAST and EgyptianMinistry of Foreign Affairs (Note : Username and password must be provided correctly)
- Original Act and Est Certificates stamped ( Act username and password must be provided correctly )
- A certificate or proof of 12 years of education certified by the educational district of each school (inside Egypt) – or certified by the school, the educational district and the Egyptian embassy (outside Egypt).
- Original certificate of success in Arabic language and religious education certified by the Egyptian General Administration of Examinations (inside Egypt) – or certified by the school, the educational zone, the Egyptian embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of the certificate (outside Egypt)
- A copy of the Egyptian General Administration of Examinations (the list of the school in which the student’s name is listed)
- A movement certificate from the Passport and Immigration Department proving the time of your arrival and departure while studying (outside Egypt).
Canadian Diploma
- Have the original transcript notarized by the Egyptian Cultural Consulate in Canada and the General Administration of Examinations.
- Ensure that the SAT 1 and SAT 2 results are authenticated by AMIDEAST and the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.
- Provide a school sequence statement confirming 12 years of education.
- Validate the results of the Arabic language and religious education exams.
British High School
- The Original British Secondary School Certificate IGCSE must be attested by the British Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Egyptian General Administration of Examinations if in Egypt. If outside Egypt, it should be attested by the British Council and the Egyptian Embassy.
- A certificate or evidence of completing 12 years of education or 11 years of education in special cases should be certified by the educational district of each school in Egypt, or by the school, educational district, and the Egyptian embassy if outside Egypt..
- The original certificate of proficiency in Arabic language and religious education must be certified by the Egyptian General Administration of Examinations if in Egypt, or by the school, the educational zone, the Egyptian embassy, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the certificate’s country if outside Egypt.

Arabic Secondary School Certificates
- The primary certificate must be original and authenticated by the Egyptian Embassy or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- For Yemeni secondary school certificate holders, the preparatory school certificate, and the first and second years of secondary school must be original copies and authenticated by the Egyptian Embassy or the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.
- High school certificate holders from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia need to submit original high school certificates authenticated by the Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Non-Egyptians should provide an original birth certificate notarized by the Egyptian Embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Note: Copies of documents can be submitted during the early submission and registration phases.
Upon acceptance into a first university degree program at Heliopolis University, all the original required documents mentioned above must be submitted to finalize the registration process.
Minimum High School Requirements
Prospective students must possess an Egyptian high school diploma or an equivalent certificate recognized by Heliopolis University. The admission criteria at Heliopolis University align with the guidelines established by the Supreme Council of Private Universities.

The minimum admission standards are subject to adjustments in each academic year based on the regulations stipulated by the Supreme Council of Private Universities.

- Any other two recognized subjects
Requirements for Secondary School Certificates
High School
1- Faculty of Pharmacy,
2- Faculty of Physical Therapy
3- Faculty of Organic Agriculture:
applicants must have completed secondary school education and hold a valid Thanaweya Amma certificate in science.
4- Faculty of Engineering: applicants must have completed secondary school education and hold a valid Thanaweya Amma certificate in Mathematics
5-Faculty of Management and Economics: accepts all high school graduates.
American Diploma
Admission requirements for all university faculties:
- At least four subjects passed in the twelfth grade and the rest of the eight subjects required are counted from the tenth and eleventh grades with a maximum of two subjects in the tenth grade.
- Eight subjects, each with at least one credit hour with an official grading statement.
- Sat1 andAct1 with a minimum score of 800.
- Sat2 andAct2 with a minimum score of 900 (optional)
- Act 1 (14)
The sum of the GPA, sat 1 and sat 2 (optional) together must be equivalent to the minimum admission to the chosen faculty.
Canadian Diploma
- Eight subjects are needed, with a maximum of three subjects completed in the eleventh grade and the remaining subjects completed in the twelfth grade.
- All students must have passed grades 10, 11, and 12 successfully in the Canadian education system.
British High School
- Eight IGCSE/GCSE subjects at the ordinary level with a formal grading statement and a grade of at least (C).
- For the faculty of Engineering, high level Math (A) or high level advanced (AS) is required with a minimum grade of (D)
- Two High-Level (A) subjects or four High-Level Advanced (AS) subjects or one High-Level (A) subject and two High-Level Advanced (AS) subjects may be counted.
German High School
- Grade 12 must be completed.
- Seven subjects are required and the English language must be one of these subjects in addition to the qualifying subjects for each faculty.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
- Six required subjects including English.
- The six subjects include three high-level subjects.
- The student must have studied the two subjects of the lengthy essay and the theory of knowledge, but they are not counted within the six subjects.
- A minimum of 24 points is required.
French Baccalaureate
Seven subjects are required with a minimum of ten points provided that they include English.

Assistance is granted on an individual basis, and applicants must present evidence of their eligibility for aid.
