Under the directive of the Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the campaign “100 Million Healthy Lives”, which runs from 23 December 2018 to 28 February 2019 to eradicate hepatitis C and stymie the growth of chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity. The campaign team was located on Heliopolis campus in the building of the Faculty of Pharmacy, from 23 December 2018 until 3 January 2019. The campaign team was represented by the Director of Health Affairs in Cairo, the Second Department of Medicine. The team conducted the following tests: Blood pressure, weight, height, random blood sugar, and hepatitis C.
