Mission Statement
The Civil Engineering Department aims to develop a distinguished engineer who is capable and responsible for establishing safe, sustainable and economic engineering projects that serve and benefit his community and society. “Water Engineering” is the first program to be implemented under the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Heliopolis University.
The Water Engineering Program’s Mission is to provide students with basic and applied sciences as well as technical and professional skills within its distinctive educational program with high quality according to the National Academic Reference Standards (NARS2018). Hence, the Water Engineering graduates shall be able to practice the engineering science in developing all fields of water engineering; such as, the design, construction, and management of engineering projects, and to make the right decisions to solve engineering problems while maintaining their active role of community services and development in Egypt. The graduates shall also be able to acquire scientific and practical experiences that add to their capabilities toward the national sustainable development.
