Prof. Dr. Sameh Shaddad

It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Faculty of Organic Agriculture, a place where you can gain valuable knowledge and pursue a career aimed at contributing to the sustainable development of food systems of our community for the benefit of the generations ahead.

Our mission is to equip our students with the knowledge in the fields of agricultural sciences by following a distinguished scientific approach in education, scientific research, community service, and environmental development, in accordance with the goals of sustainable development.As we’re currently the first and only faculty of organic agriculture in Egypt, we offer a variety of programs that qualify our students and prepare them for the work environment, by integrating hands-on experiences with various stakeholders in the organic agriculture arena.

Our faculty members work on instilling sustainable development concepts among our students to become the future leaders and pioneers of organic agriculture, locally and globally.Sustainable engineering practices and solutions are rooted in all aspects of our academic, research and extracurricular activities, thus integrating the goals of sustainable development in all our engineering curricula.
