Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology is concerned with the design and formulation of drugs into different dosage forms.  It is also concerned with the development of new drug delivery systems that ensure drug efficacy with minimal side effects.  Studies concerning drug kinetics, dosage form stability, and manipulation of dosage forms on the industrial scale are also part of the department interests.

Pharmaceutics is a key department in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Drug Technology.  Students study pharmaceutics courses starting from their first year up to the final year.
