Prof. Dr. Hesham Ay Salem is a vice-president for community service & environmental affairs, Heliopolis University for sustainable development, since November 2020.
A professor of pharmacology & toxicology at Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University (FOPCU). In addition to the teaching activities for under and postgraduates’ students and research supervising,
Prof. Dr. Hesham published more than 30 scientific publications in national and international journals and held some managerial duties.
Prof. Dr. Hesham was a managing editor of Bulletin of Faculty of Pharmacy – Cairo University (B-FOPCU), the official scientific journal of the faculty, and the former director of the Computer Center; one of the special faculty’s units (2009-2013).
Prof. Dr. Hesham acted as vice-dean for educational & student affairs, Faculty of Pharmacy, Beni-Swief University, for the academic year 2010/2011.
Prof. Dr. Hesham was a vice-dean for community service & environmental affairs, FOPCU (June 2016 – July 2017) and vice-dean for graduates & research affairs, FOPCU (August 2017 -June 2018), then, he was charged as acting dean for FOPCU (June 2018-December, 2019).
