The Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) of Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development (HUSD) was established to contribute to the Sustainable Development of the Egyptian Society. The Faculty was created with the launching of HU in 2009. Actual operations began in the academic year 2012/2013 according to the Ministerial Decree No. 3194 for the year 2012.
The Faculty of Business and Economics consists of 5 programs and a research unit.
Academic Programs and Scientific Departments
The Faculty of Business and Economics comprises five academic programs. Each program’s study plan contains 138 credit hours. These academic programs are designed according to the major/minor-bases. This structure enables the students to combine their knowledge with the specialization they want. Through the academic advising process, students learn to take responsibility for selecting and transferring into their chosen major and minor, registering in courses and setting goals as well as planning the steps to implement them.
The Faculty offers a BSc. degree in Business and Economics in one of the following specializations:
- Economics and Development
- Management & Human Development
- Finance & Accounting
